Team CIAN has built a mobile friendly website to help people find nearby parks, toilets and other facilities in an instant.
It was possible to find this information before, but it was spread out between different sites and services and behind a layer of complexity. We aggregated information from Kingborough and Hobart Councils to give the user quick and easy access right in the browser on any device.
The backend infrastructure was created using Morfik development environment, using Firebird database and object oriented pascal language construct. The backend server holds various tables of data and provides JSON based information output based on search criteria from the client end of the app.
