We created a visualisation of air pollutant emissions in Victoria, using the National Pollutant Inventory (NPI), and the Vicmap API.
It’s an interactive map that shows the biggest air pollutant emitters. The NPI website has a map explorer, however the emissions are not obvious until you click on a single emitter. The aim of our visualisation is to provide a more intuitive way to explore pollutant emission sources in Victoria, either as an educational aid, or just to satisfy your own curiousity.
